Birmingham City Council has today notified Gisela that the planning application for the redevelopment of Harborne Baths has been received. The next stage will be a public consultation which Gisela encourages all users of the baths to engage with and submit their views.

This is a welcome step in the campaign for the redevelopment of Harborne Baths. Gisela first called on Birmingham City Council to provide better facilities for the pool users in 2001. After much dithering and confusion over where the money would come from, progress is being made.
